The Data-Driven Instructional Leadership Framework can assist SMTs in their instructional leadership role.  This video gives examples of supporting early grade reading instruction in isiZulu Home Language and explains how the framework helps:

  1. To facilitate the ongoing conversation between members of the SMT and teachers.
  2. In the development of a Foundation Phase Language Improvement Plan.

    The information in this course is helpful to all teachers, parents ,caregivers and SMT members into developing the reading nation by practicing ideas here with the FP learners and young children to strengthen language knowledge in a fun and interesting way.
