I have completed my QMS… Supplied my DH with all the necessary paperwork…i.e. Lesson plans and Lesson preparation.
Area of gap is the whole spectrum of discipline techniques… I just wish there was a manual for these 21st century children …

I did mid year appraisal and the most challange that I have is filling as I don’t usually have time to organize my file as I have too much work as a foundation phase teacher

I have completed mid year appraisal, However my worry is on time management as well as maintaining discipline

I have completed my mid-year QMS appraisal, classroom management, respect from leathers and behavioral impediment is still such a huge challenge for me. This causes lack of interest in the profession and to put in effort to make learners cooperate effectively in class in order for learning and teaching to occur.

Time management and how to maintain a good relationship with parents.

I compiled my mid year appraisal as this will help me to identify the areas that I need to develop and where I should improve when it comes to classroom management and other aspects that I do not excel in. I will also ensure that I do the annual appraisal as to see where I have improved over a period of 5 months.

Actively participate in plc so that I will gain more information from others

I have completed QMS for this year and I could tell and agree that there are lot of things I need to work on for example teaching and learning charts being displayed in the classroom but they are not used.

I have done my mid year appraisal for 2024.
What I picked up is that I did not realise how broad the appraisal tool is. It is not only your lesson that is focused at or the deliverance of it. I am glad that QMS is done because it gives one an opportunity to self introspect.
With me I need to work on managing my lesson time, try to adhere to the time as allocated for that certain topic or subject.
Not to panic if a learner gives an incorrect answer during my observation, if a learners gives an incorrect answer it means there is a need for me to explain again using a different stategy.
Lesson should be inclusive- all learners should be accomodated. Visual, logical, auditory etc. When planning I should be dynamic.

After completing the QMS , my area for development includes including more LTSM in the classroom as well ensuring that the line of my work is in line with stipulated time frames in the CAPS as well as updating teacher records successfully.
-
I still need to work more on performance standard number 5 of EXTRA-MURAL AND CO-CURRICULAR Participation and it’s entire criterion.
-
I have found that managing my time effectively has been challenging, and at times, disruptive students make it even more difficult. I need to find ways to manage my time better and maintain a disciplined classroom environment.
-
My biggest problem is on time management
My learners take longer than expected to finish their work,I need help in finding the strategy that will channel them to finish their work in time.
