I joined SADTU in order to get support and protection in cases of unfair labour practices. It helps me connect with other teachers and start sharing teaching resources, thus enhancing my teaching skills. SADTU has workshops and meetings where in we are taught about professional growth, our responsibilities in schools, and how to improve performance of leaners and create a good learning environment.

I’ve always admired SADTU.Majority of teachers are under its wings because SADTU stand for the truth.They aim to serve their members effectively,create a learning nation by making sure that teachers are equipped with all necessary tools to provide effective teaching,they strive for unity by believing that COSATU, SADC and AU can work together to over come challenges that are faced by workers. SADTU is reliable and can help many teachers who are treated unfairly.
