SADTU
I have been a member from 2021 .The reason why i’v choose this union is because of its values and the vision of the union.Their aim is to eradicate all forms of dicrimination in education and to strive towards a free and democratic system of eduaction in South Africa. What inspires me most about SADTU unionis how it aligned itself with code of conduct that stipulates minimum standards of professional conduct of teachers and is not an exhaustive of such standards.

I concur with Lulekwa, SADTU has been a good teachers union which emancipated educators from the exploitation of undemocratic rules and laws of the apartheid system of education. Today teachers have a say in policies formulation and decision making in all challenges that affect educators.
