PLC is a very important initiative. It is basically a group or a structure composed by workers, in this instance, educators. It is aimed at helping to improve the quality of education by sharing different subject related information. For example, in my circuit, Bochum East, there is this initiative which helps in sharing subject related information and also collaborating and making sure that various activities regarding different subjects content and activities are taking place such as Language Enrichment activities for languages. It my perception, it is a structured body which helps in what I have mentioned above.

PLC in English , Afrikaans , Math and Social Sciences – These communities are currently active in my school.
PLC’s aim to monitor the quality of work delivered by the educator to the learners.
Many schools have joined together to make each PLC successful as this encourages all educators to share their resources and teaching methods.
