EDUCATOR DISCIPLINE, if an educator is not disciplined and does not have a good sense of discipline and standard for themselves then their work and learner behavior will reflect this and it will have a devastating ripple effect.

I think to be professionally dressed is very important in class.
-
Dress code and professionalism is so important in the work place even for the younger generation, in order for learners that are close to the teachers age to have respect and know that the teacher means business.

One critical characteristic in the Teacher’s Code of Professional Ethics is “Commitment to Students’ Growth and Development.”
This is crucial because teachers play a significant role in shaping students’ academic, emotional, and social development. A committed teacher ensures that students receive quality education, feel supported in their learning journey, and develop skills necessary for lifelong success.

It is important because teachers take on a leadership role and should lead by example. When teachers abide by a code of ethics and show behaviour and advise students according to those ethics, students get a sense of being in a safe learning environment with a person they can trust.

Refraining from physical contact with learners will help both the educator and the learners to respect each other.

For me it’s trust.i believe that there should be trust between the teacher and their learners.it is also as important between colleagues.when a learner trust their teacher it is for them to open up to them.in my years of teaching I have realised that there are learners who are having difficulties learning and not because they are just slow or not focused but because they have personal issues at home that they can not even disclose with their teacher because of lack of trust, they don’t know if they are safe around their teacher .they don’t have the kind of relationship that a child must have with a parent ,they don’t see us their protectors.i think that if we can build that kind of relationship with them we can have fewer learners who are burdened in our classroom and have no one to share their burden with.after all a happy learner is always willing to learn and easy to teach.

I reflect that self-discipline is critical in school because it enables students to develop good study habits, set goals, and work towards achieving them.
-
I promote gender equality in all learners in the classroom this will boost confidence to learners and they will participate freely without fear and will improve quality results and as colleagues we must respect each other disputes our differences, mutual support and respect must be the first thing in the workplace.
