Inclusivity, language and gender issues are addressed specifically to ensure harmony across the system and enhance learner achievement.
-
Promoting gender equality is important in the classroom. It helps to ensure that no learner is excluded or oppressed by other learners.
-
Dress code and respect your colleagues at all time , show professionalism and understanding that teaching is a profession first.
-
Teachers should guide learners and parents to choose stream according to Grade 9 results not just because parents failed to do medicine so they forced the learners to close the gap

One fundamental characteristic of the Code of Professional Ethics is integrity. Integrity is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles. It is critical because it fosters trust and reliability in professional relationships. When professionals demonstrate integrity, they uphold the reputation of their profession and the organizations they represent. This characteristic ensures that decisions and actions are made based on ethical considerations, which is essential for maintaining public confidence in professional services. Moreover, integrity is the cornerstone upon which other ethical principles are built, such as objectivity and confidentiality. Without integrity, the foundation of ethical practice is compromised, leading to a potential erosion of professional standards and public trust.

Punctuality: Teachers need to be on time in class and on time in all educational activities. A teacher who is forever late is compromizing on teaching and learning time and curriculum coverage. Moreover, learners will in-turn be disruptive or even behave in an unacceptable manner.

Communication attracts knowledge, knowing pupils help me to know a learner well enough to help where barriers of learning occurs.
Time management : punctuality allows us to manage time wisely, we cannot jungle learners lessons, it is an learning set back.
The use of cellphones should be prohibited during working hours, it is a distruction and learners lose attention. Professionalism also requires one o dress properly, to set grounds for respect for this profession.
-
Teachers should manage their own attendance and to participate or take responsibility in managing the attendance of learner in order to maintain high learner attendance.
-
Using unproper words or vulgar language towards learners and using of cell phone during lesson is not professional and it may disrupt the lesson.

To understand my view on this topic , it is probably best to start at the end of the story and work backwards. The story is how do we come to establish the meaning of self. The self is not something that can be categorised and attributed. It is the story you can’t know it, but you can be it.
-
Sleeping on duty is also not allowed, and we should always be punctually
-
Maintaining professionalism. Always be professional in anything that i do and maintain the healthy relationship with my colleagues, learners and parents and practices the good and healthier discipline
-
As a teacher you need to ensure that you are professionally and procedurally correct in executing your work, also bear in mind that you are a role model for young innocent souls that are placed under your custody

Punctuality. Being punctual is one of my strengths, I don’t remember a single day where I was late for work in both private and public sector. Being punctual makes your day to day work easy as you get to prepare well for the day.
