Hello everyone, I can suggest some play-based activities that can help learners comprehend time, height and length, and mass and volume/capacity.
For time, educators could use a hands-on approach by creating a clock with movable hands and having learners practice telling time. They can also play games such as “What’s the time, Mr. Wolf?” or “Time Bingo” to make learning fun. Additionally, educators could use music to teach learners about time and counting beats.
For height and length, educators could use building blocks or string to have learners measure and compare different objects. They can also play games such as “Tallest Tower Challenge” or “Longest Line Challenge” to practice measuring and comparing. Additionally, educators could take learners on a nature walk and have them measure the height and length of different trees and plants.

A moveable watch really helps in learning time. Learners can even create their own watches and use them daily in class to facilitate learning

Good idea and leaners will focus during learning as teacher explain

One thing that we must not forget as practitioners is to engage/participate in the children’s daily activities… Gather children to stand against the wall and draw lines on top of their heads on the wall according to their heights then one by one ask them who is taller than the other and who is shorter…by doing so they get to know heights, teach your children time by letting know their time to eat, time to wash hands, time to play, time to sleep by making rhyming songs with the activity..eg..10:00 is time to wash our hands👏.. wash our hands👏 wash our hands👏 before we eat💃💃👏👏 by showing them time on the clock even a good morning and good afternoon song is very helpful in that way they will know the difference between morning and afternoon…

Good day everyone. As for height, I will use the learners to stand according to their heights everyday. I will also use the height chart to measure them, rope and strings. For length, they can count using their feet spans and hands, ropes and strings. They can use bread tags to measure their books, hand prints etc. Time ,the will make their own clocks using hardboard paper and money clips. They will use the clocks during the lessons showing different times.

About measuremen. in this cute activityts, firstly start with anchor chart so that children can from it. Secondly begin by comparing sizes which are taller or shorter. Bigger or smaller and so on. in this cute activity kids make pipe cleaner flowers then plant them in the play or garden from shortest to tallest

Measurement is a skill most kids are eager to learn since it’s easy to see the real-life applications. Generally, students are introduced to the idea by comparing sizes, then trying out some non-standard measurement. Then it’s time to break out the rulers, scales, and measuring cups! These measurement activities cover all these concepts and more, giving kids lots of practice.

I’ll give them a bucket full of water and place another bucket that is empty far from the other one and ask them to move water from other bucket to the other and give them a deadline time. I’ll also give them a block climb and ask them to climb on it and see how far they can go up and also give them time to complete it.

For time I will suggest to use their body using hands to approach a clock is moving to anticlockwise while they sing.
Height and length they will stand up according to height and play building blocks according to date of bith

For heights they must have ropes or a certain space in a wall for measuring there heights…For time they must design a chart with a big watch and the teach must tell them what time is it now.
-
For time they could play an activity of a puzzle where in each block time is shown ,and for length and height we could choose children with different height so that they could see the difference right in front of them and it will be easier to differentiate
-
Well on measurements I can start by teaching them to draw square or rectangle on a certain measurements and if they pass that then I can introduce the following concepts of measurement
-
They can use robe for height , and I could draw a chart with different heights . For time I could make the actual watch using cardboard and make them turn it around like in every hours when it changes .

Length:There is a common misconception length. Teachers usually tell learners that zero means nothing. Therefore when measuring length learners ignore zero and start measuring from 1cm. It is our duty as educators to remind learbers tgat when measuring length we start from zero. We can give them 2D object/diagrams and they must practice measuring with their rulers.
