Six bricks very good resource Thuli every 1 has it and they are all involved and they love it and feels so good for them to own the lesson and to learn in a meaningful way.
-
-
Learners line up according to their shoes sizes/ age..that my bar graph
-
Resources-learners,(shoe-size, game/sport ,favorite colour, food, pets, toys, )bottle tops, smarties. shapes collecting different leaves on play-ground, sorting buttons(size, colour, shapes.)
-
I think this topic is the easiest even in Matric learners really enjoy doing Data Handling because it’s easy and straightforward
-

i use the 6 brick blocks that was supplied by department, they are not 6 but they called 6 brick it has different colours so far my learners in Grade R they sort according to numbers of collours
-
With the help of six bricks other learners in grade R can identify the shapes
-
In all the mathematics components honestly 6 BRICKS is brilliant, I data handling the educator can use blocks in different colors to make up or complete the data.
-
Building blocks is important to young children, they sort colours, shape etc
-
Learners can use their muscles when playing with blocks and they will use their mind what is 1st and last.
-
-
I normally use bottle tops with different colours or colourful pex in that way they learn counting with different colours
-
6 brick blocks is a good suggestion, using different colours to complete data collected.
-
To do data handling in grade R
I will ask learners to take color counters and each learner must pick one colour e.g. black, blue and red learners will count how many they have and we will put on the chart on my chart I will write numbers and colour names and learners will put according to colours black must be 10, blue 5, and red 7 it will be fun learners will learn numbers and colours and measurements.

Hi everyone I’m Ruth ,I did use transport data handling activities including interpreting data and constructing a bar chart using different colours eg,red, yellow, green we make a robot, and I ask learners how did you come to school everyday.with a car and ask the colour of the car they used.

Hi everyone I’m Maletlhogonolo,Data handling refers to the process of gathering, recording and analysing information.i normally use a fruit chart for children,to come and pick their favourite fruit, then after they sort them according to their colour.eg Red- apple,Yellow -banana and Green-pear .
