The teacher can help learners cut out numbers from 0 – 9, each leaner must have his/ her own numbers, then place a chart with colourful place values ( H for Hundreds, T for tens and U for units) play a video or tell a story that will be about 3 missing siblings numbers the older, the middle and the last number …….. then ask learners to help these numbers find their positions on the chart. You can then give them other numbers then they sort them in groups they can design their own place value chart.
