    I use the ten base blocks to build a number. Learner work in pairs ,Roll the dice. The number the dice land on are recorded example: 2and 6 .The learner build the number using the ten base blocks to show place value. Learner discuss 2(tens) and 6 (Units) they can also record and write 26 2tens and 6 units. Learners explore and discover interact with each other.
