    1.I would suggest you draw a pattern graph and explain it to them first. Try to be as simple as you could.in the process of explaining thoroughly with the use of cards ,blocks ,cut papers with numbers and any other available method you can use.these cards and paper should be big , colourful to make it easier for the children to see , identify and use charts .use math talk: “Let’s clap to the beat of this song.” e g your shirt has . White ,red , blue, white ,,red ,blue.O would also like to suggest books and sing songs /lullabies with words and phrases that are repeated.Be consistent and repeat the patterns and singing to force better understanding.
