Why assessment of mathematics is very important

1. To determine a learners current level of understanding .

2. For planning and teaching purposes

3. To help teachers to determine learners with developmental and learning barriers.

4. To give caregivers guidance and assistance.

5 To improve mathematics teaching.

I have used the shapes so learners will have to different shape and identify each shape and how many corner that it has and which shape don’t a corners.
