After researching various teacher unions, I am most interested in joining the <strong data-start South African Democratic Teachers’ Union (SADTU). I selected this union because it is one of the largest and most active in supporting teachers’ rights, promoting professional development, and advocating for improved working conditions in schools. SADTU also offers workshops, legal assistance, and guidance on education policies. I feel positive about joining a union because it provides a sense of belonging and protection. It reassures me that I have a collective voice in education matters and access to professional support whenever challenges arise.
