I’d really like to join PLCs in the Pretoria East cluster. Really interested in these and the knowledge I’d gain in one.

Edwin Muzomuhle Mkhize, My contribution in this regard is that, we have been able to deliberate on content matters through unpacking ATP’s and POA’s including assessment but to me it’s less has been done to incorporate curriculum differiantiation and inclusive education not mearly discussing about them but activities, assessment and recording for learners with barriers. Secondly when go deep to inclusive education, it is impossible to implement it if you don’t have an assistant. Teachers can falsely say they implement inclusive education but some learners are compromised.

PLC are important as we develop one another and our shortfalls include class development aswell as planning. We improve and support each other through the PLC

PLC is of great assistance to educators as they assist one another on strategies that they implement in ensuring learners are passing. we usually meet after each term and discuss the performance of learners , and also assist one another on how to help learners who are not preforming well. we do it face to face and sometimes through zoom meeting. we also share information via WhatsApp, notes , ideas on how to create a better community for our learners.

The Plc assist the teachers. These PLCs aim to improve teacher competence, address learning barriers, and enhance student achievement through collaborative learning and needs-driven professional development.
