As an elderly Black woman, I believe in equality amongst all teachers, regardless of age, gender, and ethnicity. This aligns perfectly with the South African Democratic Teacher’s Union core mission to eliminate all forms of discrimination in education. Joining SADTU would actively allow me to contribute to creating a more just and equitable education system for all learners in South Africa
