I intend to become a member and take part in SADTU. SADTU is the largest teacher union in South Africa and advocates for the rights and interests of both educators and students, thus it may be a gratifying experience for educators to join. By participating, I will be able to participate in professional development opportunities, advocate for improved working conditions and educational resources, and influence legislation. A forum for social justice activism, collective bargaining, and networking is also offered by SADTU.
