Discrimination: this issues affects me more as I am in a special school of the deaf and blind. It is important for all people to understand and accept that each person is different and no one should be treated differently due to them different. We are all human beings and must be treated the same. All learners must feel included and given a chance to learn like every body.

It is important to timeously communicate with parents and keep them informed about their child’s well-being and progress. When parents are aware of their child’s academic and personal development, they can provide better support at home, also regular updates foster trust and collaboration between educators and parents, creating a more cohesive support system for the learner.

I agree that men and women must be treated equally and be given equal opportunities. I also believe that cellphones and other communication platforms must be used after class time.
-
I totally agree. Teachers need to dress appropriately, we need to respect our learners and our colleagues. Dressing up professionally restores dignity and builds up a good personality. Since we are working with learners, it is imperative that we showcase to them through our actions the proper way to dress and act whilst in public. It is part of our job as teachers to teach them not only about academics, but to also prepare them for the world.

Communication, ensures that everyone involved express themselves and outlined how they feel, make comment on what they and not understand, It also encourage knowledge sharing.

Fairness and Equity.
From my point of view,as educators,we must treat all students fairly, without favouritism or discrimination base on race, gender, religion, social economics status,or abilities.
-
Promote gender equality. I believe treating all the learners the same made them feel loved and non-discriminated. All the learners must receive equal treatment for teaching and learning to be more conducive.

Maintaining the dignity and respect of all students. As a first-year teacher, I find this critical because it creates a safe and inclusive environment for everyone.
Building strong relationships with my students is essential for their learning and growth. When they feel respected and valued, they’re more likely to engage in class, take risks in their learning, and express themselves openly. I believe fostering this sense of dignity not only helps students thrive academically but also supports their social and emotional development.
It’s a foundational aspect of my teaching philosophy, and I’m committed to upholding it in my interactions every day. Ensuring that every student feels seen and heard is something I strive for, as it sets the stage for a positive classroom culture where everyone can succeed.

- An educator recognises that an educational institution serves the community, and therefore acknowledges that there will be differing customs, codes and beliefs in the community; and conducts him/herself in a manner that does not show disrespect to the values, customs and norms of the community. This understanding can reduce stereotypes and promote respect.
-
Promoting gender equality is an essential principle within the teaching profession and the broader education system. Promoting gender equality in education is not just about fairness—it’s about unlocking the potential of all students, creating more inclusive learning environments, and fostering respect for diversity. By addressing gender imbalances early on, educators help shape a future generation that is more empathetic, respectful, and committed to equality in all areas of life.

Cellphones takes a lot of quality teaching and learning time . They should be put on silence and looked at at time intervals without disturbing the whole focus .
-
I believe that clear communication is key within the workplace and building professional relationships with colleagues. Ultimately, effective workplace communication helps drive better results for individuals and departments. It also boosts employee engagement because it fosters workplace trust, expectations and goals within the workplace.
-
I strongly agree the use of cellphones as one of the resources that educators can use in order to give more clarity of topics as learners of today learn well with cellphones than books.
-
I think you need to be very punctual in terms of arriving at work it shows the willingness and ability to be determined and deliver what is needed and expected in workplace, in the classrooms also to ensure that teaching and learning is not compromised. However it also important to ensure that gender equality is promoted in all aspects e.g allows all genders to participate in activities given same criteria
