I concur it is important to support learners by motivating them instead of disrespecting and humiliating behaviour

Take reasonable steps to ensure safety of the learner. It is important for a teacher to make sure that the learners feel safe and valued. The learning environment must be conducive to learning, have classroom rules and monitor the behaviour of learners. Always intervene when conflicts arise.
-
I believe dress code is very important. We need to carry ourselves as professionals when dealing with students and stakeholders, and this begins with our appearance.
-
Dress code helps to make a good impression, set proffessional tone, create positive classroom environment, establish positive relationship, set an example to the learners, show respect and ensure safety.
-
This will also encourage learners to become future educators by dressing well.

Teachers should use appropriate language and behavior, they should interact with learners in a respectful manner. If as a teachers we respect learners as much as we need them to respect us, we wont have learners beating teachers or killing them and it will promote better and conducive learning environment for both learners and teachers
-
I agree, the dressing code is very much important since it defines who you are. As teachers, we must dress in professional way and also represented in front of our learners. They must see us as role models to them and also allow themselves to adapt in good sense of dressing.

Promoting gender equality and refraining from sexual harassment to other colleagues.
promoting gender equality and preventing sexual harassment in work places are very much crucial in creating a safe and inclusive space for everyone. Leadership are the ones who should model and promote respectful behavior and a safe working environment, also hold others accountable for such behavior. But these leaders are the ones who commit such heinous acts more especially to new teachers. most of these crimes goes unpunished because they are not reported or if they are reported in school levels they will or might threaten you. So new teachers ought to be protected by laws or representatives that are not bias.

Teachers should demonstrate respect, integrity and competence in their conduct with students, parents. Teachers should conduct themselves in a manner that does not disrespect the values, customs and norms of the community.
-
I agree with this comment because without respect it may lead to bad approach which at the end it negatively impact the child learning life

Teachers should demonstrate respect, integrity and competence in their conduct with students and parents, with this ethic I think is the first thing to implement as a teacher because we must know the students and their backgrounds so that we know where and how to assist them so that they end up motivated to be educated.
-
It is important to dress in a respectful manner beacuse the learners see the teacher as their role model. Learners like to copy what they see from their role model so I think we as teachers must show respect to our learners by how we dress, we have to show professionalism at work .We should not wear revealing clothes, short dresses/skirts or even torn jeans because they show some skin .
-
Teachers should act in a proper way so that their behavior does not bring the teaching profession into disrepute. This one is critical because teachers act as role models to their learners, learners look up to them. This means they should behave in the right way and dress properly so that they can have a positive influence on the learners. This will attract more learners to the teaching field.

integrity.
the code of professional Ethics posits and highlights the importance of being honest and staying true to your values in all areas of your work. as a Pedagogical practitioner it is your responsibility to uphold values and principles that are in line with integrity.
i believe integrity is essential because it shapes how learners, parents and collogues view and trust me. in order to create a safe and respectful environment where everyone feels valued, i need to be fair, keep my promises, and admit my mistakes – giving myself the opportunity to learn. we, teachers, influence those around us more than we know, but if i can be accountable, and show my learners the importance of doing the right thing, then perhaps i can help them build character and have values they can use in the future.
-
For me the characteristic which stood out from the Code Of Professional Ethics is maintaining learner confidentiality.
This is important because it builds trust between teachers ,learners and their families. Protecting sensitive information ensures that learners feel safe and supported which influences a positive environment for learning and growth.
-
An educator should promotes gender equality and acknowledge the uniqueness of each learner.
