Confidentiality is a critical characteristic of the Code of Professional Ethics. It helps establish trust, respects individuals’ right to privacy, and demonstrates professional integrity. Maintaining confidentiality prevents harm to individuals and communities and ensures legal and regulatory compliance. In teaching, confidentiality is vital when handling sensitive student information, fostering a safe and supportive learning environment.

It very important that both learners and teachers should be at school every day and on time.
-
I agree with you 100% because without learners teachers cannot do anything and without teachers learners are nothing.

Exercise authority with compassion-this means using your power as an educator in a professional and empathetic way. Using your influence in a postive way.
This is highlighted because this can help create a positive and inclusive learning , while it can help the educator who exercise authority with compassion automatically to avoid any form of humiliation, and refrain from any form of psychological or physical abuse of learners and colleagues.

It is important for all learners in the class to feel respected and well appreciated. Therefore maintaining a professional relationship with learners and their parents can contribute to effective learning in a class. If teachers have a well respected relationship with the learners in class, there will be gender equality, effective learning and better discipline in the classroom.

Dress code goes hand in hand with professionalism , dressing well increases chances of one to be respected and presentable in front of the community, learners and collegues.
-
Acknowledging the uniqueness, individuality, and specific needs of each learner, guiding and encouraging each to realise his or her potentialities. This is crucial for fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment for the well-being of learners and maximising their potential by catering to individual learning styles, strengths and need because each learner is different and deserves to be seen which also boosts self-esteem and confidence. When learners feel understood, they are more likely to trust their teachers and peers. this leads to a more positive learning environment.
-
A dress code is crucial because an educator needs to look presentable. And it show professionalism.
-
Teachers should normalise being punctual as it gives them more time to prepare for the day’s work and lead by example to learners inorder for them to respect time too.
-
Respect for the dignity and worth of all learners and educators .
It is critical because it emphasises on treating all learners and educators with respect, fairness and dignity irrespective of their gender, identity, race, background , ability and socioeconomic status including their culture.
This will foster a positive and inclusive classroom and promote social justice and equity in education

It must reflect your character and professionalism. Teachers must be examplery in their dress code
-
I strongly agree with you. Punctuality impacts classroom discipline by being a good example to kids.
-
For me is gender equality as this will enable all learners to receive same education, care and treatment.

I strongly agree with the promotion of gender equality in schools, when school has balanced gender it promotes conducive working and learning environment. It also gets easy for learners to be controllable as well, compared to when the is an inequality. The system will also encourage learners to be open minded.
