I think advocating gender equality in the classroom it is very important. Which is teaching learners the importance of equality in their lives and respecting everyone around them. I think it can help everyone exercise their rights equally.
-
Teachers should promote respect to everyone regardless of differences. And protect the learners equally.
-
Teachers must avoid having inappropriate relationships with learners. In that way teachers will be respected and trusted by learners.
-
Teachers should be committed to get more knowledge especial relating to their work.
-
Tearchers should communicate with their learners in a respective way.

All the professional ethics are of critical importance.Exercises authority with compassion is one of the most important ones,a lot of our kids come from broken homes they need compassion so it is very important as a teacher to understand that even though i have authority over my learners that authority must not be taken for granted when i am going through personal issues ,understanding that exercising my authority with passion is not done only when i am in a good space but i should always show it to allow my learners to feel safe with me all the time.

My focus will be to identify kids with special needs ,cause in most cases they fall behind in class .wance identify those kids noone would be left alone

Responsibility to profession.
I have a great duty to uphold my reputation and integrity of my teaching profession. Thus, I also need to further my studies for development purposes, I need to behave in a manner that is honest and ethical both on and off the school premises. I need to avoid any behaviour that might put my job in jeopardy. And I need to maintain posotive relationships.

One characteristic that stands out to me is that the Code of Professional Ethics promotes gender equality. I find this critical because everyone deserves to be treated fairly and with respect, regardless of gender. In any professional space, equality not only creates a healthier and more supportive environment, but also ensures that opportunities are based on ability and contribution, not bias. This is important to me because I believe true professionalism means valuing people equally.
-
I also think promotion of gender equality in the classroom is critical, as it fosters a fairer, more inclusive society by cultivating respect, empathy, and self-esteem in all children, and by preventing discrimination and violence.
-
Professionalism in terms of parental involvement and positive relationship between the teacher, the parent and the learner, as a new teacher i believe that the is still a huge gap in regards to this and the DOE with the SMT still has a lot to do to make sure that parents are involved in their learners learning and teaching, and that we dont only interact with them when there’s a problem with the learner but they are there when learners are misbehaving and also in the learners books.

To promote gender equality learners will feel free about their feeling and respect others

I believe a professional dress code for teachers is important because it sets a positive example for learners and maintains respect in the classroom. At the same time, it should allow for comfort and practicality since teachers move around a lot during lessons. A balance between professionalism and comfort is necessary, so that teachers can perform their duties effectively while still presenting themselves as role models
