I will also Join SADTU as it could be beneficial for several reasons:

1. Advocacy & Representation – SADTU fights for teachers’ rights, ensuring fair wages, job security, and improved working conditions.

2. Professional Development – The union offers training, workshops, and resources to help teachers grow in their careers.

I think one characteristic that is critical is Integrity because it ensures that professionals act with honesty, fairness, and transparency in all their dealings. Without integrity, trust in a profession erodes, leading to unethical behavior
