Overcrowded classrooms is still a huge problem for me. It needs more monitoring than a smaller one. The lesson pace must be fast and be full of interesting activities to keep the learners’ attention towards the lessons, which is good but unfair for slower learners.

I have joined SADTU mainly because it’s protects teachers from unfair labour practices and also negotiates teachers salaries and government policies in education.

1. An educator recognises that an educational institution serves the community, and therefore acknowledges that there will be differing customs, codes and beliefs in the community; and conducts him/herself in a manner that does not show disrespect to the values, customs and norms of the community.This understanding can reduce stereotypes and promote respect.
