The union that I decided to join is SADTU. According to what I heard about SADTU; was that it’s was one of the unions that is energetic and make things happen also fearless, the leaders are not afraid to stand for the truth and fight for what the believe is in the best interests of their members. They always make sure that every member’s needs are catered and dealt with in no time. And they always work by book and follows all the set policies and procedures that are currently governing the state and educational organisations.

I agree with the issue of parental involvement, this normally creates a safe space for learners and for us teachers. Further, their involvements will assist the school in dealing with learners who are disturbing the lessons and bullying others, as they will know that their parents are actively involved in the school issues. And this will help us to address such matters of ill-behaved learners and other important matters that are ensuring that the school runs efficiently and effectively.
