I think integrity because it is considered to be critical in professional ethics for the following reasons:
it helps professional educators’ credibility with other colleagues and the broader community.
when educators show integrity, they build trust with other colleagues which is essential for effective collaboration.
integrity help educators to uphold values and principles of their profession even in challenging situations.
A professional who lacks integrity may suffer damage to their reputation, which can have a long-term consequence for their careers.

Communication with parents. It is vital for teacher to ensure effective communication with their learner’s parents in order to provide the learner’s progress, concerns and issues that we come across on our daily interaction with the learners and also to get a full background of the learners we teach so that you may be aware of areas that needs more attention and how best can we help the learner to perform to their full potentional.
-
One critical characteristic from the SACE Code of Professional Ethics is the principle of respecting the dignity, beliefs, and constitutional rights of learners, including their right to privacy and confidentiality. This principle is foundational because it establishes trust between educators and learners, creating a safe and supportive environment for education.
-
Gender equality is most important as learners should be free in class so that effective teaching and learning can take place. This will allow them to interact with one another and also with the teacher.
-
Teachers should have good relationship with their learners
-
I think the professional relationship between educators and learners is a very crucial. Educators need to understand and respect the rights of learners considering their uniqueness, diversity and every learner’s special needs. With this understanding educator will be able to address each learner differently and apply differentiated teaching where necessary.
-
The issue of dress code need to be addressed. Someone may interpret you based on how you dress. So its important as educators to dress nicely.
-
Well I think as new teachers we should pay attention to our dress code and punctuality. You can’t wear revealing clothes and also be late to work and class
-
Punctuality is a key aspect. by arriving early at work, it shows that you are really passionate about your job. As teachers we are the role models to our learners arriving on time during class period encourage them to seated before you arrive in class, in that way teaching and learning will not be compromised
-
- This option is good for demonstrating understanding of ethical principles but it might be less engaging for reflection than exploring the practical implications of joining a union.
-
I think acknowledging the uniqueness, individuality, and specific needs of each learner is what i would consider to be most critical. We deal with learners of different learning capabilities and i think as a teacher you should find ways on which to accommodate all this learners and allow teaching and learning to happen for all learners.
Identification of learners who learn differently remains a challenge. Finding resources to teach those learners also remain a challenge as schools are not fully equipped to cater for diversity
-
I strongly believe that the promotion of gender equality plays a very important role in schools because it allows all leaners to feel welcome and important as well in the classroom. It fosters a sense of belonging, respect, empathy and understanding among learners
-
Practising Gender equality is very crucial in class, no gender should feel superior nor inferior to the other. AND also that is the base for inclusive education.
-
Acknowledge the uniqueness, individuality & specific needs each learner. Learner need to treated as individuals with their specific needs being identified and paid attention to and helped with their barriers. Instead of labelling them stop that they can have self confidence. Most learners have been labelled and believe what their educators say about them.
